Product Description
ECO: Clover Lawn is an expertly blended lawn seed mixture that will create a beautiful look for your lawn and significantly benefit nature.
Due to the fescue grass species and the stolon root (deep root) system of the clover in this mix, ECO: Clover Lawn creates a drought-tolerant garden lawn that stays green all year round - even in the frosty winters and intense summer heat! In addition, the clover seeds in this low-maintenance mix acts as a natural fertiliser, meaning it is self-feeding and requires little additional aftercare. When the clover blooms, it will also attract bees and other pollinating insects to your garden, creating a clover and grass lawn that's the perfect habitat for local wildlife.
Our ECO: Clover Lawn seed mixture consists of 45% perennial ryegrass for hardiness, 50% fescues to give your lawn a lush finish, and 5% clover. While 5% clover may seem like a small amount of the mixture, our experts have found that this was the best amount of clover to work with the other grasses in the mix. Clover seed is very small, so 5% is a lot compared to the grass seed!
Key Benefits:
- Low maintenance, low cost
- Introduces more biodiversity for local wildlife
- Less frequent mowing required
- Clover naturally 'fixes' the nitrogen balance in your garden soil
- Eco friendly
- Drought tolerant
